The Transit Connect is one versatile little beast of burden. In wagon format, the dual sliding side doors provide easy access to a 60/40-split/folding-rear seat that will hold three full-size adults. With this setup, there's sufficient cargo capacity left over to accommodate the contents for a week's worth of camping (78 cubic feet). The rear seat can be folded then tumbled up against the back of the front seats, which creates a considerable 118 cubic feet of space. If you're thinking this is the perfect taxicab platform, you're probably right. In fact, Ford offers a special Taxi Prep package just for that purpose.
