Hello,

 

My name is VendaMae Harris, and yesterday, Monday, February 20, I went to you foreign imports dealership. I had been looking off and on for a new car for months, but had not found something that had fit my budget or car needs. It was important to me to have a car that was a four door, was reliable, safe, and great on gas. Other dealerships I have gone to wanted me to purchase a car that would have payments out of my comfort zone. I went to your dealership to look around to see other options that were available. I did not have an intention to buy a car at this time. My husband and I were introduced to Daniel Sabia, and we were very pleased. Daniel listened to our needs, and what I was comfortable paying for a car. Right away he was able to find a car on your lot that fit my needs. While taking the car for a test drive, I new that this was a great choice. I finally was able to go to a dealership that had a salesman like Daniel that actually LISTENED to me. The last thing I wanted was a car that I was not happy with, or that would stretch me financially. Daniel was wonderful through the whole process, from finding a car, to explaining everything through the whole process, to signing the papers for my new car. I previously had a 2002 Toyota Echo that I had purchased new from Bill Cook. I admit that I was disappointed when I heard that Bill Cook was no longer going to be open and that Maguire was going to be there instead. I had a wonderful experience when I purchased my first car, I didn't think anyone could top that experience like Carl Stickels, my salesman at the time. I had even a better experience this time than I did when I dealt with Bill Cook. I am going to recommend that anyone that is in the market for a new car, go to Maguire, and I talk to Daniel Sabia. Daniel was very informative, easy to talk to, was not pushy, and most important, he listened to me. Yesterday, because of Daniel, I drove away in a 2010 Toyota Corolla, and it was a WONDERFUL decision!!! Thank you for having great employees that are there to help the customer, and not just sell a car.

Compared to the many other dealerships I had visited, Maguire was, in the end, the most reasonable and least stressful. From start to finish, they were friendly, reassuring and pleasant to work with. Their no-hassle policy made it easier for me to focus on the details of the transaction, and I felt good buying from them. Since their staff is not on a commission, though, they sometimes dropped the ball during communication and it took a while to get a response. Overall, I'm very glad I went with them, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a salesperson with some honesty and kindness in their approach.

It was not easy to find the car we wanted at Maguire. Their inventory seems to include vehicles that are loaded with options that we were not interested in, or willing to pay for. But when we finally did find the model we wanted (2011 Hyundai, which is rated at 40mpg), the process was quick, easy, and efficient. Our sales person, Matt Robinson, was not pushy, pleasant to deal with, and professional. We also found the price to be fair and competitive. Maguire took care of all the paperwork details, including financing, and the car was in our driveway 5 hours after we first laid our eyes on it. Thank you, Matt

My Car recently bit it. I have been looking for another car for about two weeks. When we went to Maguire Ford Nissan, Alex made sure that we had his complete attention the whole time we were there. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and he didn't try to steer us away from that. He made the paperwork very easy and straightforward. The overall buying process was much easier thanks to him.

Just purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester there. It was our fist experience buying a new car, and we were served very well by our representative Mike and also the manager Michelle. Everything went smoothly, friendly. So would recommend other people in Ithaca buying at that dealer.

Decided to drive to Maquire because they had alot of used Santa Fe's listed on line. We were not disappointed. Matt was super along with the sales Mrg. Michelle. Matt took us on the test drive. It wasn't your typical drive around the block. We went out into the country, up hills and then back into town. Took the time for my husband and I to switch drivers. We were never rushed. Answered all our questions. I never felt like I was being pressured into buying the vehicle. The Maquire "guarantee" is great. Very happy we made the trip...

When we purchased our car from Maguire we had no intention of returning it for a different car one week later, but that's just what happened. It just wasn't the right car for us and they stood behind their guarantee 100%. The trade couldn't have gone smoother. A personable and knowledgeable salesman (Rob S. at the Nissan dealership) was very helpful through the original buying process. Our exchange was handled by equally knowledgeable and friendly Daniel S. and his manager Dan (at the Subaru branch). It was an unusual situation for all of us but they handled it professionally and made us feel like valued customers. I have no doubt that they will stay on top of this to tie up the last tiny loose ends. I'm already spreading the word - recommending Maguire and these super salesmen because of their knowledge and fairness in price and policy.

Ricky Russo is a top salesperson who is patient, informative, and service oriented. He guided us through the process of choosing and financing a car. We came to Maguire to shop for a used VW with a manual transmission. Ultimately we were sold on a new car, a TDI, which is what we really wanted all along. The process was less painful thanks to Ricky.

We went to Maguires Import store looking for something in the family sedan class. We were pretty new to cars as Ive driven trucks and SUVs for the past 15 years. We were met in the lot by Sayre. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and not the least bit pushy. She showed us the makes and models that would suite our needs and let us look around at our own leisure. We ended up coming back 2 or 3 more times before deciding to buy a Camry. Each time we returned, she was there and very helpful. She even went with us on a test drive long after she was scheduled to go home for the day. All in all, it was a great experience and I told her as we left that we would see her in few years when we are ready to buy again. Also, afters hours of research and price checking online, we noticed almost all of Maguires listed prices to be around 2000$ cheaper than any of the other dealers around. No need to go to Simmons Rockwell, Fucillo or Romano anymore.

My wife and I would like to say "Thank you" for your courteous, professional service on Friday (3/11/11). As you know my daughter Lindsey Lictus was traveling home from Cortland last week for spring break when her car became disabled.  Your willingness to help.  Your fast professional service and your compassion for a 19 year old who was upset and unsure of what to do says much about the people working at the dealership. I realize it would have been easy to dismiss her situation as it was Friday afternoon and we did not have a service appointment. You did not do that, you fixed the car. Lindsey told us you were waiting for her, reassured her, and immediately brought her car in. This made her feel comfortable and confident she could get home, it saved me 8 hours of driving, we all were relieved. From the moment I called the dealership to talk to service I was comfortable and sure my daughter would be taken care of. From the bottom of our hearts, "Thank you". This has to be one of a parents biggest nightmares, their daughter breaking down hours from home. It happened, thankfully we were near Maguire Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram in Ithaca.
